I can confirm that Goldhill/Walter Wright/Fleet Express DID have that mongrel Cometto platform.
Biggest piece of absolute $#!TE, that was ever dumped onto unsuspecting Aussie's, it was a total nightmare, to set the bloody thing up.
It was bought up to Brisbane by numerous truck loads and all the bits were dropped of at this boat builders yard at Bulimba, cant remember the name of these boat builders. They were a big company, very profitable, then that AR$EHOLE Christopher Skafe bought it and stripped it of it's assets and sunk it.
Job was to get this bloody great big alloy catamaran out of this huge shed and into the water, to see if it would swim or sink.
Took 4 of us, three full 12 hr days, just to get it together, no time to test to see if it tracked straight, just used a C500 to shove it back into the shed under the hunk of alloy and a couple of fork lifts to give it a bit of steering.
Dropped the hunk of alloy onto this bit of crap and next day back again to shove it all into the drink. Took every minute/second of an hour and a half and the job was done.
We then had to strip this bloody bit of $H!TE to send it back to Melbourne. Another two days out in the bloody hot sun.
If " ANYBODY" on this forum, ever tries to tell me that Cometto's are a good bit of gear, just watch out, I'll really let fly.
After working with the Drake modules that were so-o-o-o easy to operate, then having to do penance working on a Cometto, wow, difference of chalk and very very bad cheese.
