Hayseed, one must be very carefull where one obtains a crystal ball, you wouldn't want to end up with a dud after all?

Ah Hayseed , I think dad was able to get around 8 - 10 mpg empty and roughly 6 mpg loaded with 8 ton out of his 308 Holden powered Bedford - a much considerable improvement over the old 300 cubic inch Bedford and heaps more power also . The standard Bedford gearing - 5 speed and 2 speed diff just worked magic and would pull the top off several rice puddins ! For the job it was doing it was far more economical than comparative diesels .

Thanks for pointing that out. Got more excited over the photo's. Unfortunatley is too small for what we want to do. Don't think you should have any problems moving it along to a good home. Take care !
