Back in the early 1980s my mate got given a red HG Monaro from another mate. He cut the rust out of it, got a RWC and then sold it for around $600. I feel it was a bit too much of the type of car that he did not want to be seen in for any number of reasons.

I went and looked at the truck yesterday, ol mate said on the phone "mechanically its ready to work " well ::) i pity the people bidding on it, as its absolutely knackered, and that's being polite , reckon the scrap man would be scared
