hi knights kilmore had a dco with a cat motor in it ,and later on they fitted a transtar 4070 cab to it.i think it is laying around in melbourne somwhere still. also an r-200 but it never got finished , someone needed a cab so the cab got sold,

bigcam looks like inter cab on a Mack chassis with cat motor so we have a dog chasing a cat in international territory

Caterpillar D468 truck diesel from 1940. Cat offered the 4 cylinder D312 and 6 cylinder D468 electric start automotive diesels with 5 speed Spicer gearboxes-5351 with the D468. I'm not sure how long these engines were sold for, but it can't have been very long-probably U.S. involvement in World War II finished production. Don't think they were around after the war. Cat didn't re-enter the truck diesel market until the late 1950s or early 1960s with the double overhead camshaft 1600 series engines-I think the 1673 was the first. The D468 was the automotive version of the D4600 series engine used in the D6-4R/5R tractors, early No.12 Motor Graders and DW-10 Motor Scraper tractor.
