Leader Indicator/Dimmer stalk

Having fun trying to find some part for the old Leader A6 84 model, and wondering if anyone can offer a suggestion.

High beam has stopped working in the stalk, and the indicator is not staying clicked on, there is a fair swag of worn plastic internally so would rather not try and rebuild it.

I am led to believe that it might be a Mack part....possibly from a F or R model.

Thanks Murranji, I guess it must have been another parts bin special that Leader had found!! BTW how is your rebuild going?

I think they are the same as a Denning or Austral Coach switch, they all used ZF steering box's and a similar column, and all where put together in SE QLD, my guess is they would be a generic switch, but I don't know who the supplier is.

Mack used the Signal Stat ones which you can buy through Narva.
Narva have a Signal Stat one with the high/low beam built in, but you'd have to put the plugs on it, and it doesn't self cancel the indicators. I'm pretty sure I've got a new one on the shelf if you can't find an original Clarkie.

Maybe try UES or Rocklea Truck Spares in Boniface st.

G'day stretching the memory here a bit but I think they look the same as the last of the beddy's (not the Isuzu ones) and maybe CF vans as well

G'day,
Drove a few different Leaders, some had a flat steering wheel with a S2a Landrover indicator lever, the later ones had a dished steering wheel, which looked very similar to a Mercedes, so was probably a ZF setup.

Cheers, Neil

This may be of some help, not the same but should do the job but no self cancel. I have fitted one to a D series ford before part No 64924. www.narva.com.au/sitebuilder/products/medium/450/64924.png
