FWIW
The early flat-nose COE circa 1954-57 were CSE Cab -Surrounding- Engine. they did not tilt for every day servicing but for an engine major overhaul could be tilted with a lot of disconnection of many doodadds
1958 they offered full tilting COE

Up to the top with a very special T800 in Israel, heavy duty everything, Sisu axles and wheels you don't usually see on a KW. Ordered like this from the factory. Sits like this due to family row :(

The below is one of two trialed by the IDF in the early 1980s. Both fitted with Cummins KT525. One blew up and was sent back to the US, the one in the pic was taken by Israeli heavy transaport specialists Taavura and fitted with IH M523E1 planetary reduction rear and is still in use.


Acar roadtrain in Israel in the 60s when you did not need special permits to run them...

and a RCII when they already restricted them to certain routes (pic: Moshe Levy)
