Swishy, that photo of the Fibreglass Five pulling the Labatt beer trailer brought back memories.
Quinn Motor Freight, an outfit in southern New Hampshire bought eight or ten of the things in the late fifties. I don't think any of them lasted five years. The fibreglass would crack around the the cab mounts and the cabs would lean in a turn. One ol boy had to do a panic stop at about fifty miles an hour - the truck stopped, but the cab kept going. He survived with various scrapes and bruises, but that was the end of them for Quinn. As I recall, the Teamsters and the DOT stepped into the fray and redlined the ones that were still on the road. They all got parted out and the cabs junked. If there are any left, they're damn rare. I haven't seen one for years.
