Billy, it’s about time he straightened the lower pipe on the bullbar, it’s been bent for too long. Lol.

Mate , that bar that's on it now makes the front view look a little strange as the old bars were another foot (or so ) higher , so it has had a barovernite wrote: Billy, it’s about time he straightened the lower pipe on the bullbar, it’s been bent for too long. Lol.

Mate , you are probably pretty close to the mark , as it is a fair while since the Zacuba days.

.Recently another old Zacuba brick truck surfaced up north NSW.
Originally Kwikasair 1KT 835. then went to Zacuba under the Alltrans banner as 1BX 835.
.
.Seen here delivering bricks on the NSW central coast
.
They still pop up occasionally...…you cannot keep a good unit down. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

.The pic doesn't really show how steep the terrain was...is...
The tar road was very steep, then from the gutter it was still up hill onto the site...……
The land sort of sloped in two directions...…….
So pushing 45 T onto that site was really a hard slog, without deep reduction we couldn't have made it.
and no , we didn't drive around with no air in the tyres , nor did we forget to take the trailer
brakes off.
Turning circle...???? not a good idea to attempt a left hand turn from the gutter lane !!!!!!!!!!!!
The ride .????? probably not what you would call arm chair style..!!!!!!!!!!!
That pic might show the steepness of the site in a better light.

You can see by the step up in the concrete footings what the rise is like and when you look at the truck in the street to the one onsite, it is steep.
