Was describing the Rothmans out of Sydney Decco, Brownie had that work for quite a while. In my time I often scored Kodak up (they loaded and unloaded) and a pre-loaded pan of Rothmans back. Pretty creamy for the day!

Can't quite make out the writing at the top of both sides of the windscreen on Roland's picture of the red-and-white KW ... can somebody please tell me what it says??

Hi Bugly.. how ironic eh?....and yeah Jimbo you nailed it....i forgot all about Kodak out at Newlands Rd....that was a very big deal until the digital age buggered that lot as well :P

Well done Detective.... very informative. No secrets with that sort of approach to marketing and sales.... Honest John heart on sleeve probably did not sell trucks... and volume may have been a problem.

So Detective ... When was the first KT450 installed in an Atki ..... We know it was early/mid 75 for KW in their W models ;)

but any Atkinson wiff a KT450 would need 2 B an 8 wheeler az in twin steer to carry the weight of th@ big lump of iron Y/N ?

...g'day Swishy .. pretty sure the blurb in those links said there were orders taken whereby this sort of engine/HP would be accepted in certain situations....(definitely heavy haulage being one of them i s'pose)....and i'm only guessing they would still be able to be registered or operated in 6x4 configuration with certain dispensations ??...
