G'day

Well that will do for me!

What ya recon on the cab? Would back up the Rta's theory of a cab change and hence the loss of the compliance plate.

Cheers

Sarge so you got to see and touch the bible believe there's not many left now and even less who know how to preach from it.
Would love to get a copy and scan it would be lots of hours of fun on a Sunday with it.

G'day

Those numbers I posted earlier are the only numbers I've got, purely off the old rego papers.

Would be good to know exactly how it started life. The previous owner said it started life as a fuel tanker for shell.

From an old testament;
the first digit(s) = payload
next = number of wheels
last = number of engine cyliders
A prefix of S, M, or L was added to denote wheelbase
Later T was used to denote prime mover
However, it would seem that new codes crept in to identify both engine and cab types and instead of payload the first numbers denoted either GVM or GCM
