Wow, that's a lot of stuff on the top of a telescopic crane.
The jobs long done and it didn't fall over but.
Looks impressive though,
(and I did see the boom extended).

Spotted at a truck stop.
Drove away from Victoria, made it to Adelaide, popped a water pump and its now getting a truck ride to Perth.
The owner said the game was to see how far along he could get after pulling it out of long term storage and letting it run on its own merit.
Looks righteous.

I caught up with Vince , the owner of the Kenworth in Woonona (Wollongong) today and he was extremely happy that you have taken the time to post photos of his truck. He is now doing 3 loads a day of roof tiles and he has no plans of replacing or painting the truck . It was good to see this old Kenworth still working as I remember it when it was part of PH Woods fleet from UlladullaBillyP wrote: .

.Before i take any more pics , i shall try to have a chat to the driver..............
I start the conversation by saying ........i used to be a brick carter..( what else would i say )........... Even though
his load was actually roof tiles...........he apparently subbied for the old ZACUBA brick yard after i left
and TNT folded up not long after........The brick deliveries were done at the time he was there by Linfox.......
Now he is delivering tiles for CSR..............
Any way back to the KW............
About 20 years ago he seen an add about a K125 KW mover for sale as is, with a seized 350 Cummins .
down the south coast near Ulladulla, belonging to Woodsy (P. H woods i think )........
So he choofed down ,had a look, bought it for (i think about $4000 bucks if i remember correctly ???)
Had it towed home (much to the joy of his better half ) and started to reserect it.
Over hauled the donk himself for about $10,000 bucks ,tidied the rest up and put her to work.
He has been working it ever since and has had a very good run ...(mate ..you carnt kill these old girls )
Anyway ,with the OK to put pics on this forum, i got behind the camera again.......................
I will put this up in case it goes pear shape.....

.
Mate , that is simply great............
I had never met Vince before the pic shoot.......but he does know my son in law ,TZ, who has been carting bricks for donkeys years...........
What i didn't notice ,was, until i looked at the pics later ,is that the truck is now fitted with a John Goth drive suspension.....
I am greatly interested in where it came from, as i feel pretty sure it would not have been on the truck when Woodsie had it ...(bidstbc)..........
Could the Goth bit have came from an old Zacuba 8 wheeler.........?????
I have been keeping an eye out for him but have only spotted him in the distance sort of thing.............Thanks for that..........

He probably has lots of friends in the neighbourhood too, with a handy forklift about the place.
