Drive About Truck Pics
.Here is (was ) a top bit of gear in its day...................
Now a farm truck used at harvest times only.........still in excellent condition.....
Spotted by my son ,while delivering fertilizer to a farm in west NSW some where ..........
S/N 116641...... Ex Ansett.
A load of Jeeps and associated parts ...spotted having a rest at Merriwa... NSW..........
is he coming or going................from my sons phone cam..............
A bit of nostalgia from Prospect Resovoir, west Sydney...........
Old Britstand grader , one or two horse power, depending on conditions............

thinkn Ansett had cab marker lights on side of cab roof
and cab access step pole removed (may B over width with the KW step/pole)?
#S/N 116641 suggests th@ B fully imported
but it shows signs of KW Bayswater Au
Oz V: had headlight bucket molded into one piece, recess for parking light etc
Where'z the KW rivet counters wen we need m

Interesting fibreglass moulding just above the side indicator, looks more straightened off at the lower edge compared with Aussie ones, three piece roof, flatter front grab handles.

59 years ago today, 27 /0 5 / 1959, was a memorable day for our family for two reasons........………….
First was the birth of our first daughter..................
Second, that was the day i started with Jones Bros Carriers in Wetherill St Lidcombe.............
My wife always reminds me of the fact that i chose to be with Morry Jones instead of being with her..........
My only defence is , in those days men were turfed out of the delivery area...............
