If it is a WA plate, DA is for Darkan, a small town between Collie and Wagin.

DA is Dardanup
AW is Darkan - (Shire of West Arthur)

Seeing the miniature semi reminded me of one made in Perth in the late 70s (?) based on a mini moke - where is it now, I wonder?

Cheers, Neil.

Yep, stuffed up there. :-/ Dardanup would be right.

There was a semi-trailor made from a Mini that was owned by the owner of the Golden Fleece in Port Augusta. It was often parked outside the roadhouse back in the 70's

Hi BillyP, You have some photo's of a truck with a homemade cab that you were not sure what brand it is. I think it may be a re-cabbed WWII Diamond T and could even be this same truck or a sister to it.

G-Day Brue,
Mate if thats not it , it certainly came out of the same mould.

I was at the property earlier in the year & that wasnt there.

It was only after i got home & lookin at google earth that i spotted the pic , but the

image was a few years old. So i guess that it had moved on to where ever.

Good onya, Thanks. ................Billy................
