I CAME INTO THIS WORLD WITH NOTHING & STILL HAVE MOST OF IT.........................

I used to be a truck driver,
but i am now not a truck driver ,
on a good day i can remember
that i used to be a truck driver.

I saw a show on tv a while back. It was at the truck show on the Gold Coast. They showed these cameras and gave them a good wrap as they always do. What the driver had to look at was a screen nearly the same size as a truck mirror and it was mounted on the "A" pillar near the driver. He could have it as a LH, RH or a split screen to show what was next to him.
Aparently it is becomming popular in Europe so aparently we should love it too or else!

The A pillar is already blocking part of your view so overall you are ahead, especially at roundabouts. The clever trick with these cameras is that they can follow the tail of your trailer when going round tight corners or reversing. Some like em some hate em. Cost a lot of $$$ so definitely not the end of mirrors.
