Sadly long deceased mate, Des Ryan, drove an S model with single wheel two axle dog Sydney - Perth regularly in the late 60s early 70s. Now that's either dedication or an acute fear of poverty.

Godess was the UK civil defence fire appliance, kept in ongoing maintenance storage during the cold war. They were called into action during a firies strike in the early 80's, quite a few rollovers.

.A few years ago we passed through Taroom Q.............
Parking under Leichhardts tree . (he blazed his initials on the tree that now stands in the main street )........
The cook went to IGA for supplies and i went to take a few pics of something ii had seen in a side street.......
An old Mapleleaf that was parked in front of an old servo...........







I came into this world with nothing & still have most of it..........
