My late father Allan Layton worked for FH Stephens late 40s (after a few years driving for the Army post WWII ), before joining SECV 1950 in Heavy Transport, then after a few years outside (including interstate with the fledgling Ansett company), went back to SECV 1955 till retirement.

A Seddon would have had one of two designs of a circle in the centre of the radiator. A big ask for a Perkins P6 motor, but then again tootling around flat ground of the wharfs....
