Kenworth K-100 Grey Ghosts

Back in about 1978 (or there abouts) at Lansvale, a new TNT mover fronted up for its

pre-delivery & it was fitted with a direct 15 speed box & had the appropriate diff ratio to get the usual

required speed. So i said, TNT wont accept this because of the direct box. Dont worry about it, its OK,

A couple of weeks later it was back & we had to change the box up to over drive, then strip the diffs

& fit the correct ratios...........Beats me how it got out of Bayswater..............

Thinkin back the cab ID tag wasnt re stamped, So what about the fisch records etc



What donk did it have???? Thinkin ..........thinkin...Im sure it was an 8v71

I found this old girl parked up in Tooborac (apologies for the photo quality) didn't have alot of time to have a good look and take better pictures but the one thing I did notice was that she only had three small amber cab lights and is a bogie drive tipper

And you didn't stop to get the chassis numbers, you better just go hang your head in SHAME.
