I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

My absolute favourite song. Annoys the cook when I play it at dinner parties populated by her cat lover friends and I roll around laughing while they sit there with a mouth like a cat's arse.

Reminds me of a time long gone when leaving Alexandria Sydney and driving up through Erskinville in the old 510A Acco with a mobile hydraulic press behind me. Well I was giving the thing some stick in second and as I reached for 3rd a cat came out from behind a parked car and went under the front wheel, then the duals and finally under the bogie axles of the press. I knew it would be pointless to see if it survived so kept driving.
Next day at lunch time I went to the take away shop where I got a mouthful from the owner of the shop. Apparently after existing the bogies it flew up and onto her bonnet of her Valiant. What can I say other than, I will have my usual thanks.

Nothing about cats, but next time you go into a chicken shop and ask for half a chicken . . . wait until they go to cut it in half and then add, "the left half please" as seriously as you can. Quite funny watching them as they turn it round to look at it from both ends before looking back at you for some guidance.

If they’re under 40 they probably don’t know which is left or right anyhow.

I'm over 40 but have always had problems with left and right. Don't ask why as I have no idea.

Back in 90's my Wife was Navigator when we were rallying.

She would call the turns as knife and fork. Seriously.

Worked well enough to get us to the end of the rallies with some good results.

So in my case it isn't righty tighty, it's knifey tighty!

So if someone rearranged the cutlery draw at home you would drive into a tree?
