Remember the story "There was no room at the Inn, so Mary and Joseph could only use the stable." What else could the animals do when they were sent outside for the night?

I was not there at the time (I am not quite that old) so can only imagine it as it might have been.
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Pity about the damage to the car but think about the petrol he saved!

At Primary (state) school, we used to jump on top of each other like this, while yelling "Stacks on the Mill"
