Clearly US product.

European trucks don't use those fuses.

They passed into history 30 years ago like US superiority.

I loved my F86 but at least three times I was totally blacked out by these fuses. Once across the Hay Plains at 0300 with no torch or tools. Found a coke can by the road and screwing and twisting produced a couple of aluminium "fuses" to give me lights.

I thought the builders' standard was a three inch nail and the mechanic's a piece of silver foil wrapped around a match. You can't buy those at Repco, so I make do with little glass tubes that come with wire inside them and steel caps on the ends!
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,

I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

My father (Who was a Smoker) used to use a bit of the Foil from inside his Cigarette Packet wrapped around the Blown Fuse........
