I guess the panels surrounding the screens would need to be painted to stand out somehow - I can imagine someone claiming they didn't see the back of the truck it looked like a clear road.
Maybe if it only turned on if the following vehicle was closer than a set distance that may help
Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!
