...of course, with these things sprouting like weeds Swish, you can just race out and flash 'em up any old way you like.

....We had but TWO originally imported into the country in the very early 1960's, and this is the only one remaining.....For the sake of history and posterity, she deserves better....

....Late Edit .. There's a good opportunity for someone out there to see her restored to original, as it's currently listed for sale POA

Swishy,I could be wrong,
But I'm led to believe That this truck changed hands within the last 4-6 months.. pretty sure it still lives in QLD.
maybe some of the Queenslanders among us could shed some light on It..

Because those that matter...
don't mind...

don't matter." -

...I'll always be fairly opinionated on how a RARE truck might be conserved or represented. To be fair, the subject of originality wasn't high on anyone's agenda when she was done up nearly 35 years ago, but today the gaudy appearance sticks out like a sore thumb, and she would respond well to a "sympathetic" period style restoration.....

Some more from Israel. The B61 shows the difference in the approach to rolling stock between Israel and Oz.

The first FM700 was very special and really could be seen as an "FM800" if ever there was such a thing, heavy duty bits all round and V8.

The second FM is on contract work for the IDF which uses a lot of civilian trucks in this way. Both FMs were assembled in Israel by Mack Ashdod.

Southbound likes 'R' models, anyone got some pikkies please?

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.
