...I've changed my mind .. I LOVE Mack trucks....especially the ones with MY Beiderman cab on 'em !!....
...MrsMack .. where were these pics taken with the boxy, square "Oshkosh" looking cab on them ?....I reckon they are very similar to the Beiderman cab, which also has a Mack speedo and bogie rears ??

...And what about the fella in Craigeburn (Vic) who was quick off the mark and snavelled a bunch of cheap Superliner tow trucks from out the back blocks of New Guinea, or somewhere similar, over 20 years ago...
...Apparently got 'em all back to Australia and found out they were modified NR Macks with the very early R model cab and Superliner bonnets !! ??

NRs we had in Israel a few, here's one being welcomed in Jerusalem after managing to break the siege the city was subjected to in the 1948 war. Pic from the Harvard U Israel archives.

I drove R-models for about 8 years, this was taken in 1982 while loading
