Dave 64,
The "G" model replaced the "H" model for only a few years. There was a legal dispute between Mack and KW over its design and Mack then brought out the "F" model.
Mack bought out Brockway in 1956, But kept them entirely separate until the mid - late 60's when the design / engineering departments started working together. In the 30's Brockway had a city sized electric cabover they called the Metropolitan, but never had a COE road tractor until about 1970 when they started using the Mack "F" model cab. The only Brockway cab Mack ever used was the Huskiteer in Australia. Brockway closed in 1977 and they had built a prototype tractor for release in 1978 which Mack kept and used to bring out the Superliner.

Thats a long way up there , wouldn't my thing to let go when getting out, has happened getting out of a normal truck and is pretty embarrassing

BTW a thong in Australia is called flip flop in other parts of the world or jandles in NZ

That's gotta be about the fugliest Mack ever posted up here, hands down!

Looks like one of those old 'Steelweld' 8 wheel crane carriers somebody stood back and threw a cab at and then filled the gaps in with left-over tin!

Good one Grandad. Morris Commercial had them on Viceroy and Dictators buses/Coaches in the early 1930s. I believe that a Dictator Double-Decker bus survives somewhere in England. Possibly at the Crich Tramway Museum?

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
