Well done Zuffen
Seems you have Swishy talking about something that has nothing to do with Swedish Engineering excellence.
Swishy mentions the Yanks and obtaining something out of a bucket of fuel, looking at American products right up to now there is little evidence of getting the best out of a bucket of fuel.
Then take it one step further the two stroke GM said to be one of then greastest American achievements, toss up do you fill the fuel tank or top up the oil.
For now that will do

Lucky they put a real transmission in that truck to make up for its other short comings!

Swisho, this is one mean M.F.. B) But IIRC Rexy uses a Scammel when the V****'s can't go any further

Swishy Mate
How many times need I make the same comment.
I buy and operate Trucks to make money, the thing you have posted would be of no use whatsoever towing a platform trailer, anyway it is a miserable 600 horsepower.
We have learned it takes a 700 horsepower VOLVO to get to the top of the hill.
Interesting in one Country it has a flat ground rating, not sure what the gradient is for 500 tonnes.
Hello Southbound yes we do use the Scammell when reversing and or placing large weights at very low speeds onto foundations, very few Trucks can handle a situation where it takes half an hour to go 100 metres. Our answer is the Scammell fitted with a Allison transmission and 8.20:1 hub reduction axles.
