Swishy it worked and worked well would have been a good show liked the little steam trains would have been a great train set to have as a kid

I noticed even before all the OHS BS they had the motors behind a fence I reckon people may have used common sense in them days what sez you all

I'm so over OH&S it just drives me nuts.

You see 5 guys standing around with stop go signs or driving cars with flashing lights and one man driving a tractor cutting the grass.

How many lives have these jokers saved or cost?

I like them being dressed in Hi-Viz so I can aim for them!

There was some footage on TV the other night of a School Teacher in the playground in her Hi-Vix. Why weren't the kids wearing it as well?

I remember going there regularly as a kid.

They would do a tug of war with people v steam roller and if the steam roller looked like winning some water under the rear rolls soon fixed that. There were often several categories of kids/women and men and I seem to remember the kids winning while their dads lost!
They also used them for slow races (slowest roller / traction engine that completes the course without stalling wins) and the steam rollers used to have a competition where they had to push an empty 44 gallon drum with the front roll without squashing it. On year they even squashed an early falcon with a large traction engine.

As well as the OH&S issues most of the vehicles in the car park or going down Burwood Highway would be welcome as display vehicles at shows now
