Inter tappets always sound noisy as their gaps are big- especially compared to car motors. I was told if in doubt to leave the gap bigger rather than smaller as if they are too tight they burn valves. I have attached the specs for the silver diamond motor in case they help.

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!

Cool thanks fellas. Will have to jump in and widen them a little. Didn't glue the rocker gasket so that will be fine!

Cheers!

Hey does anyone know the best place to get bailey channels for the aa110s? I know of fleetparts and scotts old auto rubbers.

Is it possible to buy dodge at4 seals? Are the cabs the same?

Found some rubber ones in clark rubber today that I will test fit and it might work on the sides and top but I will still need the chrome wiper type seals at the bottom of the window.

Also will be chasing quarter vent seals. Someone has had a bit of fun with a selastic gun on mine!!

Hey there all!

I have managed to score some new parts for my dizzy on the 240. I am going to try and keep them as spares though as it was running well when I pulled it apart.

Does anyone have any advice on setting and cleaning the points? What spec do I set them to?

I haven't messed with dizzys before!

Any advice much appreciated!

This is a really good instruction for anyone trying to learn about home distributor servicing. It covers several different eras but gives really good step by step info on your old style.
