Never had an Inter in the stable, just offered mechanical help if needed. Worked for Inters for a couple of years back in the dark ages.
I past through there fairly regular heading to Augusta.

Some of the motors have quieting ramps on the cams.......and its very east to end up with double the valve clearance if thats not realized.................Ive seen the motors with 050 clearance and rattling away,and very poor performance.................The early trucks front engine mount is under the waterpump....so there is no front mount on the crossmember......................do the AGD s have valve rotators?.............I would imagine the 264s might have ......they were a great motor............I dont think an early SD manifold will fit a tiltvalve engine.............incidentally,the TV head gasket is different to the earlier one,so the block is likely drilled different.
