I don't think the Japanese got the dimensions from Aussie scrap cars.

Nissan built a vehicle based on an Austin copy, plus the old Baby Austin was copied in Japan in the 30's.

The same question could be posed for wheel sizes? Why are they imperial and not metric.

I'd expect Lang would have the more correct answers.

Can you still buy a truck on spider wheels,or a trailer?.....are they even legal on new vehicles?......I know truckies cant drive anything that isnt shiny any more,and the scrapyards are kept going with busted ally wheels.

OK,are Drake 15" spider hubs and drums worth anything to anyone?.....unused,but rusty......there is some weight in the hubs,must be solid cast .

I think that's the northern hemisphere version, to make it work correctly dunnunda you need to use it upside down!

If you push the lever up it goes ON-OFF ON-OF
If you pull the lever down and it goes OFF-ON OFF-ON
Sounds like a n electrical fault.....Better consult Billy Buckwheat !
