Cruise control is frowned on during wet/icy conditions - however
If a vehicle has a constant 4WD or AWD system would this still be the case?

If it's constant 4WD or AWD you don't have a choice, but its obviously far supeior

Thanks overnite, but your answer left me wondering whether you felt either would still require frowning upon? :blink: :huh:
Point being, if traction is lost at one wheel the AWD feature automatically compensates for it and transfers power to other wheels, which in turn would prevent the vehicle from losing control as in a 2WD vehicle. Needless to say on icy roads you'd be a bloody idiot for using the cruise control anyway, but it is the wet road situation that has me thinking . . .
