In your first pic Swishy, what's with the counter weight on the right hand side? OHS would love this one too.

Second one is definitely man made.
The load is fuzzy and the truck isn't, plus the sign writing on the machine is back to front.

Wee-allis, have to agree.
Note the lack of axles and out the back they have not removed what would to appear to be a wind turbine blade.
Not sure about the begging dog either, chassis angle would suggest there is something really wrong with that rear end
Cheers Steve

This is from the Graham Ford collection. I did see a comment the other day from Swishy about the Mecho Mk2 Atkinstien, on l think, an Atkinstien link. I couldn't find the piccie l wanted, but this one should fit nicely in here!!

My brother took this piccie back in the late 70's. I think it was on the Melbourne Road Corio, near the Corio Bay Roadhouse. They were on their way home from the opencut coalmine in Angelsea, from memory, but that can be rather vague sometimes!!!!

Thanks Paul, glad ya like 'em. These outfits were real impressive, but those floats really made them stand out. They look so solid a nuclear blast wouldn't damage 'em, and that Mecho one looks ta be the same style, and someone told me that Mecho Atkinstien became a Lance Smith Atkinstien!!!
