All I can say is due to the road regulations in America they do it the hard way with the incredible axle groupings. The last photo with the green 10 axle is not what you should do to a Platform trailer however, while trying to break the trailers back they at least lifted the middle 4 rows.

The U.S. is an old country with an old road systems
so many of them bridges were not designed to take the loads of today
th@ is why they strech the load out over a long distance
There again each state has its own rules n regulations = Wot a night mare

The photo with the Lampson shows the far easier way using Platform trailers 2 x 12 axle Cometto the item transported I think was quoted as being 220 tonnes. For interests sake only we are scheduled to leave Mayfield on Monday night with a 305 tonne Stator for Bayswater Power Station using 2 x 16 axle Platforms and beams.

Yep your right Rex
Came up from Adelaide and I was told 225 ton
It's a synchronous condenser, I'll let the brains trust on here get technical about that
Basically it's a big electric motor that runs doing nothing but tidies up the power out put on a large solar farm or at least thats my understanding
