Onya Pauly,
Rules- "for the guidance of the wise, and the blind obedicence of the stupid".
Hmm.. I think Australia has rushed to one side of that equation - I'll leave it up to you to say which side!!
Cheers

Three used to be the home for the CUB horses. I have seen a poster of them crossing the Manning River bridge

Cobba,

Did you mean Taree was the home of the CUB horses.

Predictive text catches me out all the time.

Yes, Taree for what ever reaqson was the home for the CUB horses and carriage. I can't remember the reason why this was the case. Either a member of the team lived here or it may have been more central to the places they would go to.

I had trouble with the keyboard yesterday hence the stuff up. Using a spare one now and hope to get the other sorted out soon.

There was a CUB Clydesdale Team Based at the Old Sydney Showground at Moore Park for Many Years.. They even had their Own dedicated Pavilion ..
I delivered Hay & stock feed to there for several years...

1. Years ago when I was President or Secretary of the HCVCA we wrote to CUB for several years in a row, inviting them to display their Clydesdale team that was based in Melbourne at the time at our Annual Display. They did not reply, so we stopped inviting them.

2. The farm machinery on the trailer reminds me of one of my Father's saying "It fits where it touches."

3. I hope the last picture, showing the truck with the load hanging so far out one side has at least a Telstra rope holding the side up!

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
