I do like the original track layout but the second one will possibly work better. Queenslander Eh!
Actually for the model train set you can buy a cross intersection so that both lines are open.
As for the plane, "only in America"

By the look of the roads in the plane photo I would suggest this is well postwar. Possibly a shift for a museum display?

Found it. Taken only a few years ago.


B-17 "Sleepy Time Gal"
B-17 44-83624 being delivered across the Mad River Bridge to the USAF Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. B-17 was being towed by an American Coleman Model G-40 all-weather towing tractor (USAF classification is MB-4) which can be removed in hot weather. Made from 1954 to at least the mid-1970s.

There is utube showing a late model Volvo truck being wrecked by an excavator for being caught fly tipping......In UK ,there are near to no penalties for flytipping,and half the country is covered in rubbish and building waste dumped by professionals.
