Hi,
a picture of my load of my rides taken in 2001 in Darwin in the Simon National Carriers yard. The trailers were borrowed from Bulls who ended up towing them down to Melbourne because the Simon drivers/manager weren't too keen on the condition of the trailers so they did a deal put them behind Bulls trucks. The hydraulics on the top deck didn't work so the Mokes were forked up at the back and pushed along toward the front.
The third trailer from Darwin that the local manager, Peter, called his work of art and showed it off to anyone that wandered in the day we loaded it up. The Simon driver who bought it down didn't know what he was carrying other than 'car parts' and once the tarp came off and several times during the morning as we unloaded he just kept repeating "I didn't know you could get that much shit on a trailer!"

Could I ask what the route outlined on the door is.

Just picked up Barry Petersen's new Perkins Powered F700 in Dalby. Combined SE Qld Heritage Truck Club weekend. Great roll-up from a 400km radius around Dalby.
Trip home down the Toowoomba range was OK but I forgot how damn hot these old trucks are. Outside temperature 32deg cabin temperature 45deg. Anyhow I will soldier on and drive it from Brisbane to Newcastle next weekend.
