And unlike a fork lift, the ute end of it would cut a fair arc, owing to the wheelbase.

If you were smart enough to design and build it, I am sure you would be able to engineer the drive and steering, probably using the front axle of a four-wheel-drive?

Fat chance of getting that registered for the road, here!

I know a bloke who for many years, drove a four-wheel-drive Bedford with no drive shaft to the rear axle because the diff was stuffed.
He does not have the mechanical ability to fix it.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

I hope he doesn't end up with a leg each side of that bridge. Brings tears to the eyes just thinking about it.

Hi,

it is a Garden Gnome, not a Santa Claus, and when I was at school they used to be nicked from front yards and sent away to distant places and then a postcard was sent back to owner saying how they were enjoying themselves interstate or abroad. It looks like a big fibreglass marketing display for posting Gnomes. :)

If that's not photo shopped, that rope is about 40mm. A bit hard for tying knots.
