In the mountainous parts of Canada, there are quite a few light aeroplanes and helicopters, which fly in difficult and dangerous terrain.

The industry has a saying:- There are Old pilots and there are Bold pilots but there are no Old, Bold pilots.

Think about it. Maybe it applies to truckies as well.
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

The version I heard Morris was...
There are old motorcycle riders and bold motorcycle riders, but never old, bold motorcycle riders!
I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

My Wife said, with a gap of a minute or so between each:-
Don't yell,

Don't shout,

Don't talk so loud,

Not so loud,

Speak quieter,

Speak up, I can't hear you!
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

While watching an Ambulance show based in the UK the other night a little old lady was 104 years of age was hitting on the Ambo and at the end of the show she recited a little ditty;
In 1902
The bob bies had nothing to do
So they sat on the rocks
And played with their cocks
That was 1902.
IT took me a while to stop laughing and she giggled like she was 16 again.

Do children have as much fun in childhood as adults do in adultery?
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't lead a horticulture.
