This one has no connection to me but the owner/restorer is a friend of mine and is a long-time HCVCA member but does not have a computer.
International KB7 single axle prime mover with log bogie on turntable. Just completed long restoration. Runs and drives well. Ready for registration or club permit. Very good restoration by tradesman who has retired from a brake repair business. Missing chrome trim between windscreens. Well painted in two pack but has a couple of runs inside the bonnet.
An excellent truck. If it was a Morris, I would buy it.

For auction at Slatterys Auctions in Dandenong, Melbourne this Thursday 23rd May at 10.30am.

Seven photos on Slattery Auctions website. Look up Victoria auctions.

Remember, no connection to me.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Swishy,
Thanks for putting pictures up. I tried several times but could not do it. A couple of mates and I will be at the auction but not to bid, just to give moral support to the seller.

Yep, sold to a member of both HCVCA and American truck club.

It sold for less than the $20,000 reserve. The seller accepted the bid on the day.

The seller, myself and another mate spend many hours preparing the truck before it went to auction and the seller was annoyed that the auctioneers deducted a cost for "detailing" the truck. He said I have been detailing it for twenty years. What did you do to improve it? but they would not say, and would not remove the charge.

If he could prove that they did not tell him they would impose this charge, he would have a very good case to force them to repay him but he is a quiet country bloke and does not want to talk to a lawyer about it.

Apparently the auctioneers charging a "detailing fee" is not so rare,
Bloke I used to know in the wholesaling out of trade in cars told me once that the only time he got his own detailers to do it at his yard was when the boss was prowling around.
Rest of the time he'd send them to the auction site "as is" knowing full well that he was going to have a surcharge imposed anyway.

Yes,
no doubt it is common practice but it is a bit rough when the vendor is not told about it before the auction. I once went to an auction where I had to pay for a catalogue. I complained to the auctioneer and told him if I had not travelled 300 kilometres to attend the auction, he could stuff his catalogue. I asked him how his boss was and told him that I had been with his boss the day the boss got his first Mercedes Benz car. (true but I was not with him until later that day. I "forgot" to mention that) The auctioneer then stopped trying to justify charging.
