Added another bedford to my collection. Just need to work out the year . It is a flat bed (no tipper) it has a bag loader on the side.
Pretty much complete. Havent had much of a chance to look at it i bought it looking at a couple of pictures. last rego was n 1980 it seems.
Engine number matches plate.

My '39 Olds had an oval badge on it . . .
Guess that makes it an earlier model; did the badges change when the 48-215 came along?

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

The ML looks very straight and nearly ready for the road?
How many Bedphids do you have? "Bedford Bouff" here in Gippsland has at least ten.
The 1929 GMH badge was a rectangular badge showing a lion with his front paw on a globe of the world. I had a mint one for my 1929 Chev Ute but had to sell it, along with my collection of memorabilia when I lost my job (I was told "Last on, First off") a month after I mortgaged myself to the hilt to buy my house.
A few years after 1929 they changed the globe to a round rock-looking thing.
Another PM sent regarding Elite.

Congrats on the new purchase Swiftden, looks a great project.
Yes I'd be interested in the best way to clean up name plates as well.
All the best with it.
cheers

Can you ever have enough toys, really?
Good purchase, should keep you gainfully employed.
