Hello.

Does anyone know where or what model or year this emblem came from? I've had it for many years and I can't identify it.

photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipPPuSncqxKc...nB7evvHOGBwKObPD61CZ

41cm x 11cm. 1.6mm aluminium. Black field is etched (slightly recessed) and enamelled.

I hope someone out there knows!

Cheers.

I actually think the badges on my truck were chrome letters not the screen printed type you have. Exactly the same dimensions and style. Maybe they changed along the way to save money.

Swishy

I loved the 6-71 and the Road Ranger and it rode not too bad with a trailer, which was almost never. The ride bob-tail was COMPLETELY unacceptable. I often had to stand up with my backside off the seat in case it bottomed. Talk about a pain in the a....!

The F-86 was like a car to drive. Apart from losing a bit of history I have no regrets over the exchange.

Lorry used to ride like a buck board too until we threw in a set of new front springs, what an improvement.
