International truck springs

Hi,
I am chasing a couple of the hinge springs as found on the AB series international trucks, and perhaps other models.
I have a Dodge AT4 329 that have the larger diameter Dodge springs on one side of my truck hinge set and smaller diameter ones on the other side
which I am advised are common to International models indicated.
I believe the springs from the International trucks are a bit weaker than the Dodge ones and since I have had issues where I couldn't
lower the bonnet on my truck and have ended up replacing both the bonnet and the hinges. I want to alleviate this problem happening again and believe the smaller springs would be a step in the right direction.
