Be a lot easier to find an Austin/BMC truck motor.....used up to the 70s at least in all the petrol trucks ,and a excellent four speed box ...not synchro ,but constant mesh ,and very easy to drive ,and seem to last forever ....one of the best four speed truck boxes......The quickest axle ratio is the small 2 speed Eaton fitted to Austins ..5.83 ratio ...the Austin 2 speed is alot lower ratio ,like 7 to 1 ,iirc.

I know this is an old post and you may have already the items but I have 2 Austin A125 engines and transmissions removed from cars and in storage. All in need of refurbishment plus 2 diffs, 1 radiator and other odd pieces. I'm in NSW at Wingham near Taree.      Geoff      0427478189
