Getting back to Lang's comment about Jeeps, my willy is not a Ford. I doesn't have an F on it but it used to do that.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

A couple of experimental fire trucks built by Hurst Industries on Kenworth 8-ton 6x6 chassis in 1951 for the US Air Force.
The first carried a Hall-Scott 400 engine in the body to drive the Hale water pump, and had a pair of nozzles on the front wings, the second one carried water to replenish the first truck.
