Im sure Swishman tuned in each Monday night
There was a few good Australian TV documentary type shows back in the 80's
Guessing Australian story or the like on long distance trucking
Cant tell you about the one on Toot's and co as I was only a kid then and have only seen it once
Lots of people on Facebook make a big song and dance about how wonderful she was but on questioning them they have never met her
Read the book about her, she was a pretty wild woman but full of go or maybe just got her self in a situation and she couldn't get out of so had to keep working

Lang,
you missed William Hartnell, the first Doctor Who is in there as well.
From Wikipedia:
Hell Drivers is notable as being an early film for several actors who later went on to more illustrious careers. It provided early appearances for Jill Ireland and David McCallum, who met and married during the film's production. It featured Danger Man and The Prisoner actor Patrick McGoohan, and was the third film role for Sean Connery. William Hartnell was the first actor to play the role of The Doctor in the BBC's Doctor Who; Gordon Jackson appeared as the butler Hudson in ITV's Upstairs, Downstairs. Sid James was a regular supporting actor in British films at the time and appeared in most of the Carry On series. ...".

Lang, you failed to mention the star; the Parrot Nose Thames must have been able to give the old Ghosts a run for their money. :lol:Lang wrote: V8Ian

What a boring movie - an hour and a half of a bunch of trucks moving half a mile on the M25 - if they film on a good day! If they shift to the M1 they might crack 5 miles.
Only being sarcastic with a big grain of truth but things in UK have certainly changed since those halcyon days of the 50's when a national road system of narrow lanes coped with the traffic.
If any of those original actors are still alive would be good to see a cameo appearance. Hope they remake it.
