I was looking through some old photos of mine and came across my old R model, 237 maxidyne , mack ten speed under drive ( yes ) and it had 38 000 Mack duffs out of a cruise liner , and Armstrong steering , I bought it for $12k from a wrecker near coburg, it was pretty sad when I got it , it used about 2ltrs of oil to get home lol .
It used 4 ltrs of oil about 1000ks and It only had enough fuel for 600k with the road train on , I carted wheat , rice during the harvest at home so it wasn't like I'd break down and be in trouble .
I bought it with a tipper on it and gave it a paint job (myself) and stole the quad headlights off a sigma , and cut the covers out of aluminium!

Those head lights dont look that out of place to me and Im a Mack fella

Funny thing about some of the later Mack 6 cylinder motors with a 50 liter sump
Depending on how its parked and it only has to be a poofteenth off flat and it will show your down 5 - 10 liters of oil
Top it up and next time you check your 5 liters over lol

I reckon it looks like it could have been a super liner prototype....
