AS requested here is how I fitted my crane to the draw bar of the box trailer. Yes, it does need a stabilising leg if lifting at the heavier end of the limits but so far I have been able to do what I needed it to do.

FFS, I corrected them from laying down on one side now they are arse up.

Good one Cobba

That is the exact same crane as the one I have.

Have to think about support as there is the weight to consider plus the bending from side loads.

Just think you might have wasted your money on high tensile bolts with a 20mm bolt load being around 20 tons. Reckon some Bunnings gal bolts would have still been hanging on long after the trailer let alone the crane had given up.:)

Cobba, just move your jockey wheel back near the crane and you've got your stabiliser done and dusted!

And I agree with Lang re the bolts, but you have them now and the money is Gone anyway.

Cobba, I think that crane has raised the CoG too far. ;)

Yeah bolts went in years ago, at least something else will break before them.

Damn you Cobba.

Another thing to buy and add to the trailer.

But it would be so handy as we'll be moving house soonish and lifting lathes etc is getting hard the older I get.

Zuffen I second that.
On the subject of a stabilizer leg, the top part of an Acrow prop maybe the go. Pin for large movement then the screw part to load it up.
