Kenworth pickup was created by grandad
In 1978 Kenworth built a pickup truck for one of their executives, Murray Aiken, who was retiring. Apparently it stayed in his garage unused until he passed away about ten years later.
Here's a pic of him with his retirement present.

That thing would be worth a Kings ransom to an enthusiast! Wonder what it's based on and what running gear? Chev, Ford, Dodge, something like that??

I met Murray Aitken a couple of times when he visited Lansvale............ The last time was at the local bowling club
where we were having a send off for the first person to retire from the Kenworth organisation in Australia..........
................The cleaner from St Peters................... As i recall.............

.......................Billy.......................

I CAME INTO THIS WORLD WITH NOTHING & STILL HAVE MOST OF IT.........................

I used to be a truck driver,
but i am now not a truck driver ,
on a good day i can remember
that i used to be a truck driver.
