Maybe, if they're FL 10s. If my memory serves me (not always reliable) the ones I saw were FL 7s, constantly working their rings off.

PFS I believe own KFC,Pizza hut and Sizzlers before Sizzlers went belly up in the 90s

Pizza hut is almost a thing of the past I today, or at least I dont really see them about much anymore

Paul
Sizzler only recently closed here, a lot of them are reopening as Taco Dell(?).
Pizza Hut have morphed into a franchised take-away.

Sizzler I believe got sold to some big knob at PFS that went out on his own, this was back in the early 90's

He reopened as "Bell's" were you had a bell at the table you rang and the staff served you what ever you wanted

Apparently it only lasted weeks before that went belly up

Sizzlers started again but as a new company with at a guess only half the stores

A lady that did my book work back then told me this, she new someone in the know apparently

Here is the "true" story on Collins and KFC. Collins Foods is an American company not Australian.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collins_Foods

In Australia Collins owns a number of KFC outlets, mainly in Queensland, but the huge world company, Yum, retains ownership of most Australian KFC outlets. Collins aim to build up their KFC outlets by buying more from Yum as their financial position allows.

I think people confuse PEP (Pacific Equity Partners, the Australian investment company) who own various segments in USA particularly, with Pepsi Cola who owned segments of the brands for a relatively few years.

Hi,

Collins started as a US company but is now and Australian company based in Brisbane as detailed in the wikipedia link Lang posted, the result of a few mergers and take overs and they are now out of the US and extending into franchises Asia and Europe. I have had shares in them for around 10 years and they are doing very nicely, www.google.com.au/search?q=asx+collins+foods&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 , thank you. :)

Those Volvo's were FL10's & they worked there ring out & the trailers were road train rated , they were up on there weights every night. Half the trailer was loaded with frozen eg; pallets of frozen chips nuggets chicken patties for KFC . Frozen cheese & meats for Pizza Hut. The other half were pallets of flour beer etc for Pizza Hut plus pallets of Pepsi . All had to be unloaded by hand at stores at night. Bloody hard work!!!!
