The closest my dad ever came to driving trucks was many years driving F100 ambulances as a part time volunteer. Spent 37 yrs
working for Woolies . Played the piano all his life at any venue, including the Queen Mary ,playing for the troops. Once played in the
Festival theater Adelaide . What a thrill that was . All tunes played by ear. Never learned to read music , just a keen ear. He played all
all his life right up until a couple of weeks short of his final day, reaching a ripe old age of 95 and a bit.
A real nice bloke . Dave.
