Hey guys
So iv been a member on here for years but been absent over the past few years.
After stepping back from the industry…

Iv now just last week started a new job transporting trucks across our great country.
A few years out of the cab is just what I needed.
My enthusiasm is back at 110%.

So my first job was pick up this beautiful c509 from the factory in Bayswater and drop her in Brisbane.

Second job which was today, pick up this secondhand Volvo superliner lol
From Coffs Harbour and drive her back to Melbourne.

Anyway lads , good to be back and I’ll keep trying to update this post when I get some cool rides..
That is if anyone is interested lol

So made i eventually got the superliner back to Melbourne.
But not without drama..

Coming into Maitland yesterday morning she started starving for fuel.

After waiting 4 hours for the local dealership to look at her they finally agreed to change filters lol
5.5 hours later I was back on the road.

Got to marulan last night back to into Laverton today.
Then over to Bayswater to pick up this little t360.

Back up to Brisbane 1st thing tomorrow.

Don't know how old you are but not many of us could stand up straight after driving bob-tail trucks thousands of kilometres back and forth every day. Different trucks would keep the interest high, fast, nippy, manoeuvrable and no loading dramas but the pain! You are a bit of a hero (or a masochist).

...and no loading dramas

What he said! LOL

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

Haha yeh definitely steering something different does help and different destinations..

I’m 40 and been driving trucks about 17-18 years….

I must say airbag rears really help keep my back in a semi normal state lol

Thanks mate,
I’m definitely loving it so far.
But a new job is like a new relationship isn’t it?
There’s Always a honeymoon period to begin with hahaha

But I’ll definitely be posting plenty of pics.
